A word from the artist
“These plant imprints are made from plants picked in my garden, on the roadside, on the seaside dunes.
Sweet pea, teasel, ground ivy, Persian speedwell, honeysuckle, poppy, phacelia…
These discreet plants, sometimes nestled in low walls, sometimes curled up close to the ground, often escape the eye.
Delicate, light, graceful, they lend themselves wonderfully to imprinting.
Ephemeral as they were, transposition into plaster has made them permanent".

Exhibition
Since the end of November, we have had the pleasure of exhibiting a selection of works by the artist Lyse M in our Atelier Charlot.
These twelve delicate plaster plant imprints enhance the shop's perfume area and highlight the naturalness of HUYGENS natural artistic perfumery creations.
Lyse M, an artist from Carnac, uses a special technique of transposition into plaster and thus makes permanent the beauty and delicacy of plants, yet so ephemeral in their natural state.
Charmed by her creations, we thank Lyse M for embellishing our Haut Marais shop with her romantic works, full of poetry.
If you have not yet had the chance to come and discover these magnificent bas-reliefs, we invite you to come and admire them in our shop at 51 rue Charlot in Paris, or to visit the website www.lysem.org
