Have you often wondered whether it is better to do a mask or a scrub? These two products are in fact complementary and essential in your beauty routine.
Why exfoliate your skin?
Exfoliating your skin is an essential beauty gesture. It helps tighten pores, remove dead cells from the skin as well as impurities. Using a scrub helps refine skin texture and restore its radiance.
Our Face Scrub therefore purifies the skin without aggressing it, for a healthy glow that lasts.
How do you exfoliate your face properly?
1. Before exfoliating your face, it is important to cleanse your skin well with a gentle Cleansing Gel that does not aggress the skin.
2. Once your face is cleansed, all you have to do is apply your scrub to your whole face, dampened beforehand, using circular movements and avoiding the eye contour.
The circular movements help stimulate blood circulation and allow better penetration of your product's actives.
3. Rinse with lukewarm water.
How often should you exfoliate your skin?
It is recommended to use a face scrub once or twice a week depending on your skin type.
We advise you to use scrubs containing very fine exfoliating particles, such as rice powder, to purify the skin deeply without aggressing the most sensitive skin.

Morning or evening: when is it best to do your scrub?
Night is when the skin is least exposed to external aggressors such as pollution. The evening is therefore the best time to do your scrub.
However, using a scrub in the morning also has advantages: it lets you enjoy a healthy-glow effect.
Why use face masks?
Face masks, while they all have different properties : hydrating , purifying, anti-aging, regenerating… allow deep action.
It is therefore important to opt for “clean” formulas, made up of powerful natural actives, to give the skin the nutrients it needs.
Our natural, organic, ultra-creamy purple clay mask, The Beauty Mud, purifies the skin while evening out the complexion. Enriched with hazelnut oil and rose water, it leaves the skin soft and soothed.
Why a clay mask?
Clay is a natural rock material rich in trace elements and minerals , widely used in cosmetics. It absorbs excess sebum and therefore purifies your skin.
There are different types of clay: green clay, white clay, purple clay... and they all have different properties. Purple clay, derived from white clay, purifies and soothes dry and dehydrated skin.
Should you exfoliate your skin before applying a face mask?
Exfoliating your skin before applying your face mask helpsopen the pores andimprove the penetration of the actives present in the mask.
So it is strongly recommended to use a scrub before applying your mask, to maximize its effectiveness.
How do you apply your face mask?
For maximum effectiveness, we advise you to apply a thin layer of your mask by hand or with a brush to your freshly cleansed and exfoliated face and neck.
The application time depends on the mask used. Make sure to respect the application time and to rinse your face thoroughly with lukewarm water.
The application time of our Beauty Mud is 5 to 10 minutes. Make sure not to exceed this time to avoid tightness.
It is important to dry your face with a clean towel by patting your face to limit the proliferation of microbes. Indeed, that would be extremely counterproductive after using products designed to improve the health of your skin.
How often should you apply a face mask?
It is advisable to apply your mask once or twice a week depending on your skin type.
The “multi-masking” technique
“Multi-masking” is a technique that consists of using different masks on different areas of the face, depending on the skin's needs. This allows a personalized routine with targeted action according to needs.
Example: You can apply a purifying mask to the T-zone and a hydrating, soothing mask to the cheeks.
