Cucumber, a beauty ally for the eyes?

Cucumber is widely known for its benefits on the eye contour. It is a powerful natural active known for its decongesting, brightening, hydrating and purifying properties. This cucurbit is one of the vegetables richest in water, which makes up 95% of it. It is a true natural source of hydration, perfectly suited to the sensitivity of the skin around the eyes and eyelids. Made up of various vitamins, it notably contains vitamin K, an anticoagulant that therefore facilitates blood circulation in the tissues.

What are the benefits of caffeine on dark circles and puffiness?

How do you treat pronounced dark circles?

To reduce dark circles, the first step is to act on the causes, by adopting a healthier lifestyle and a balanced diet, and by protecting your skin from pollution in all its forms (screens, air…).

A good night's sleep will rest your eyes but also reduce the risk of dark circles getting worse. It is also very important to have a good night skincare routine, to support the skin's overnight regeneration process.

Remove makeup from your eye contour with a makeup removing lotion that is gentle and suitable. To do so, use a reusable cotton pad or a small natural sponge. Apply a small amount of lotion and wipe the eye and skin without rubbing. The movement should be gentle and repeated from the inner to the outer corner of the eye. To remove stubborn mascara or eyeliner, make this movement from bottom to top, so as not to damage the skin or the lashes.

Once the skin is well cleansed, treat the area with a suitable product. A face cream would be too rich and unsuitable, because the skin is sensitive and does not have the same needs as other areas of the face. Place 3 small drops of our Cucumber Eye Contour on your dark circle. Pat gently with your fingertips starting from the inner corner of the dark circle, moving up towards the outer corner of the eye. For this gesture, favor the ring finger, as it is the finger with which you will apply the least pressure on the skin. You can also massage this area gently in circles, always moving up towards the temple. This will stimulate blood microcirculation in this area, and therefore stimulate cell regeneration.

How do you store the Cucumber Eye Contour?

For more freshness, you can keep your Cucumber Eye Contour in the refrigerator. On application, the cool sensation will awaken the skin and eyes even more effectively.

How do you de-puff your eyes?
