Lavender
This Mediterranean plant with the sweet scent of Provence is a beauty ally that comes in several varieties. The most famous are true lavender, easily recognizable by its spikes, which grows at medium altitude, and spike lavender, with its broader leaves, which grows at low altitude. Although this plant built its reputation in Provence, lavender is now grown throughout Europe, notably in Bulgaria, the largest producer.
The essential oil
